He is the founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desisnetwork.org\/\"><strong>DESIS<\/strong><\/a>, an international network on design for social innovation and sustainability. He is Honorary Professor at the <em>Politecnico di Milano<\/em>, Chair Professor at the <em>University of the Arts London<\/em> and currently Distinguished Professor of Design for Social Innovation at <em>ELISAVA University Barcelona<\/em> and Guest Professor at <em>Tongji University &#8211; Shanghai<\/em> and at <em>Jiangnan University &#8211; Wuxi<\/em>. <br \/>Among his books <em>Design, When Everybody Designs. An Introduction to Design for Social Innovation<\/em> (MIT 2015) and <em>Politics of the Everyday<\/em> (Bloomsbury 2019).<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>25th of June<\/strong>, the <strong>Italian Embassy<\/strong> will host the Conference \u201c<strong>Design, Social Innovation and Public Services: Everyday Perspectives<\/strong>\u201d in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geisteswissenschaften.fu-berlin.de\/italienzentrum\/veranstaltungen\/archiv\/2019\/Manzini.html\"><strong>Italienzentrum of Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/strong><\/a>, where <strong>Ezio Manzini<\/strong> will present his recent publication <em>Politics of the Everyday<\/em> and will discuss in conversation with <strong>Sabine Junginger<\/strong> and <strong>Bertram Maria Niessen<\/strong> on how social innovation and design can change public services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROGRAMME<\/strong> (the conference will be held in English)<\/p>\n<p><strong>18.30<\/strong> Welcome Address <strong>S.E.
