On the occasion of the 7th “Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World” (14-20 November 2022) the Italian Embassy will host a panel on “Italian Agri-Innovation for Sustainability”, focusing on the topics of regenerative agriculture and the impact of new agricultural technologies on climate change.
When: Tuesday 15th November @ 6 pm
Among the panelists we will host Dr. Nina Wolff, President of Slow Food Germany, as well as experts from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Future Food Institute of Bologna, the Roma 3 University of Rome and representatives of Italian companies active in the field of regenerative agriculture.
The panel will also deal with the promotion of the Mediterranean diet and the fight against ‘Italian sounding’ products in the agri-food industry. We are expecting a fruitful exchange on priorities for the European agenda, such as organic farming, climate protection, the promotion of healthy food and innovation for the sake of sustainability.
